AYS Summer Basketball is designed to be a fun program that will offer a mini season of basketball. Summer Basketball will allow players the opportunity to grow and develop their skills during the Summer, while also having FUN!
AGE DIVISIONS
2nd Grade Coed Division
3rd Grade Coed Division
4th Grade Coed Division
5th Grade Coed Division
6th-8th Grade Coed Division
Leagues will be determined by the grade the player is in for the upcoming school year (2024-2025).
AYS SUMMER BASKETBALL SEASON
This program includes several practices and 5 games. The season will run from Monday, July 8 - Saturday, July 27, and will be held on weeknights (typically between 6:00pm - 9:00pm) and Saturday's (typically between 10:00am - 4:00pm). Please note: league and grade-specific practice days and times will not be determined until after registration has closed.

REGISTRATION
Registration will be available from May 6 - June 3.
LOCATION
Practices and games will be held in a variety of locations at Avon Community School Corporation's school gymnasiums.
EVALUATIONS
There will not be evaluations for Summer Basketball.
GEAR REQUIRED
AYS will provide uniform shirts. Players are asked to supply their own basketball and water bottle (please put player's name on both ball and water bottle).
