Welcome to AJAA Baseball!

Our recreational baseball program is designed to not only give players many opportunities from learning the fundamentals, to developing already established skills to learning about team work, the way to handle the ups and downs of winning and losing, and how to work hard to achieve a goal.

*There is NO late registration.  Once registration closes, we not not be able to add players.

**Please note: if your player is considering playing AJAA Baseball, but is waiting to see if they make a school team, please go ahead and register them so they have a spot.  If they make a school team, per our refund policy we will issue a full refund.
Special requests are taken into consideration such as practice dates, coach request, and buddy request; however requests are not guaranteed.

*Refund Policy – Please view our refund policy HERE

Dates and location are TBD
NO evals for PeeWee or Rookies

*Each player will hit 5-6 live pitches from a coach and then, they will pitch from a mound.
*If the player is not batting or pitching, they will shag balls and play catch w coaches.
*The coaches (and volunteers that are asked) will evaluate the players.  At the end of evaluations, the league coordinators will get together and determine if any player should be moved from one league to another based on evaluations.  This is not expected to occur, however if it does, all league coordinators will work together for what is best for the player.
*Example - if a 10 year old is registered for Majors, but they rate low and should be in AAA, then we will move the player to AAA.  The goal is to get the kids in the league that is best for them.
*If players are moved to a different league than they registered for, a credit will be issued or if a balance is due, that balance will be issued to the account.

Parents: Please make plans to attend a mandatory parent meeting.  Date and location TBD.  We will send out email communication with confirmed info.

All leagues will have one week night practice and a game on Saturdays.  There could be games scheduled in the evenings after the end of the school year.
Practices and games can be held at our various facilities:  AJAA Baseball/Softball park located at CR 625 and 100 S, Avon Middle School North fields, Avon Middle School South fields and Light & Life Church on 100S.

AJAA will provide players with uniform shirts and hats.  Players are asked to purchase gray baseball pants, a fielding glove and a batting helmet.  Cleats and a protective cup are encouraged (non-metal) but not mandatory.
