George started volunteering with the organization in July of 2021 serving as the Baseball Commissioner before joining the staff as the Sports Coordinator in October 2023. He strives to provide a well-organized youth sports program that creates a safe, positive, and fun environment for all participants. He believes that kids can never have enough positive and encouraging role models and that youth sports play an integral role in developing lifelong skills.
George has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Manchester University. He has spent the majority of his career coaching high school and collegiate baseball. George and his wife Whitney have two children that both participate in Avon Youth Sports!
