OVERVIEW
The AYS Football Committee, USA Football, and AYS are committed to ensuring a positive youth football experience. We provide league-wide benefits for AYS players, parents, and coaches through USA Football’s Heads Up Program. Indianapolis-based USA Football and AYS have been partners since 2011. USA Football is the sport’s national governing body and is the official youth football development partner of the NFL and its 32 teams.
All coaches are prepared to lead their teams in completing a 15-chapter coaching education course on usafootball.com, encompassing how to best teach football fundamentals, communicating with players and player health and safety, including concussion education and management.

AYS FALL 2025 TACKLE FOOTBALL SEASON
Practices will begin in late July with games starting in early August. The season will run through early October. Practices will tentatively be held at Cedar Elementary, and games will be held at Avon Middle School North & South.

**For Tackle Football, the athlete will be provided a rental helmet and shoulder pads. These are to be returned following the last game of the season.
