PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The AYS Football Committee, USA Football, and AYS are committed to providing a positive youth football experience for every athlete and family.
Through our long-standing partnership with USA Football since 2011, we provide league-wide support for players, parents, and coaches. USA Football serves as the sport’s national governing body and the official youth football development partner of the NFL and its 32 teams.
All coaches are prepared to lead their teams in completing a 15-chapter coaching education course on usafootball.com, encompassing how to best teach football fundamentals, communicating with players and player health and safety, including concussion education and management.
PRE-SEASON TRAINING PROGRAM (Register now through June 28, 2026)
Avon Football Club is excited to introduce a new Pre-Season Training Program, led by Avon Football Club's Performance Trainer Tristan Gardner, for the 2026 season.
This is a great opportunity for 3rd–6th grade athletes to get ahead of the season by building skills, speed, and confidence in a high-energy training environment.
Cost: $85 per athlete

FALL 2026 AVON FOOTBALL CLUB (TACKLE) SEASON
Practices will begin in late July with games starting in early August. The season will run through early October.
Practices will tentatively be held at Cedar Elementary, and games will be held at Avon Middle School North & South.

**For Tackle Football, the athlete will be provided a helmet and shoulder pads. These are to be returned following the last game of the season.
