The Avon All-Star program is designed to give higher skilled players additional opportunity and extend their football season. During a typical All-Star season kids will play 2-3 tournaments giving them up to 8-12 more games. All-Star tryouts are open to ALL kids participating in AYS rec football. In the rec season 3/4 grade and 5/6 grade play together, All-Stars are grade specific with each grade forming their own team. We usually hold tryouts at the midway point in the rec season. The All-Star season is a more competitive atmosphere. There is a greater emphasis placed on winning in this "season". The amount of players on each team is determined by the coach. All-Stars is an additional cost.
