The AYS Spring Baseball All-Star program is designed to give some of our best Spring Recreational players the opportunity to compete against other Little League All Star teams. Our 9–12-year-old teams will compete in the Little League District 8 tournament with the opportunity to move on to the State and International tournaments. Our 7- and 8-year-old teams will play in three to four weekend tournaments against other local Rec. All-Star teams.
ALL STAR SELECTION
There will not be tryouts for All Stars. 2023 regular season Head Coaches will meet with the Baseball Committee in mid-May to conduct voting for the 2023 All-Star teams. Head Coaches will nominate players for consideration in the voting process based on the player's athletic ability, coach-ability, & character. Once nominations are completed, Head Coaches will have the opportunity to cast votes for players in their regular season division that were not on their regular season roster.
